Dave Rumker, Managing Director & Chief Investment Officer

Dave is responsible for directing Campbell Global’s investment and asset management strategies across all regions. He joined Campbell Global in 1992 and has over 35 years of timberland investment management experience. He has been directly involved in Campbell Global’s client relations and marketing outreach and served as CEO of Campbell Global’s Australian start-up operations, OneFortyOne Plantations, in 2012/2013. Dave is a member of Campbell Global’s Board of Managers and the is Chairman of the Investment and Price Forecast Committees. Over the last twenty-five plus years, Dave has been directly involved in Campbell Global’s acquisition due diligence in the U.S. South, U.S. West, and internationally. He has led the investment analysis and internal valuations over much of that time period.

Prior to joining Campbell Global, Dave was an eleven-year member of Champion International’s Western Operations Management Team, responsible for strategic planning, timberland valuations, and forest operations. Dave received his MBA from Oregon State University and a B.S. in forest management from Clemson University. He is a Board member for the National Alliance of Forest Landowners, and an Advisory Board member for the Oregon State University Institute for Working Forest Landscapes. He is a past Board member for the Western Forestry and Conservation Association and Stand Management Cooperative and is a certified forester for Society of American Foresters.

Ryan Lobdell, CFA, CAIA, Managing Principal 

Ryan is a consultant at Meketa Investment Group where his responsibilities include general consulting, liquid alternatives manager due diligence, asset liability modeling, and capital markets research. He is also a member of the firm’s Strategic Asset Allocation/Risk Management committee. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from Linfield College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of Portland. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is a member of the CAIA Association.
